Movie – Elephant

This movie reflected a scenaric portrayal of youths in high school. Within this portrayal
was a identification of key students and brief relayal of their activities at school. Interaction with teachers, principal and other students reflected some troubling occurrences that affect teenagers today, e.g., teenage crushes, relationships – gay and normal, conflicts with other students and the sad breakdown of one student and another that decided they could not take it anymore and went on a killing spree.

Conclusion on movie

Young people are in trouble and do not take into consideration the consequences of their actions and have become indifferent and unconsciously socialized to believe violence is acceptable and they can ignore the norms of society and do what they want to do.
