Can we solve the problem of crime?
Before solving the problem of crime we need to know what is truly considered a crime.
A crime is determined to be any infringement against legalistic norms and statutes of the law.
As far as solving the problem of crime – we would have to equalize society to ensure everyone has the same possessions and remove the behavioral pattern of jealousy, covetous, envy and spite. What kind of world would fit this proposal for a crime free world with no psychological values to cause deviance, violence or murder.
This would be nice but unfortunately pipe dreams are devoid of practicality and reality – I believe that we can solve the problem of crime in small doses by providing and instilling empathy and caring for our fellow man. Loving each other as people who are entitled to be different is what we need to do and not sin against each other and try to live by God’s Ten Commandments.
How much responsibility does society have?
Society as a whole is responsible for any aspect of deviance or derailing of societal and legalistic norms and statutes that are being violated and we have the right to hae these norms enforced to continue and support the safety and protection afforded by these strict norms and statutes. We as a people must stand on our stance and not yield to backsliding and must continue to hold legalistic norms as our standard to live and die for.
Are our policies enough?
Presently the policies we are using are adequate but as criminal activities change with new technology more regulations and restrictions will have to be devised and put in motion for regulation.
What would you do differently, if anything?
Evolving a country and people to handle possible criminal activities need study and many scenarios tested to locate effective ways to prevent crime. After finding an effective procedure or method – lobby to put these new procedures in effect.
