Felicia McCaw’s Journal Entry 1

Me as a person I am a rather reclusive person who likes to mingle on rare occasions and finds life to be a rather intriguing counter-part to my regular everyday mundane task or boring routine. I am rather lazy now that I have retired but find myself interested in working part-time but see in others a strange particular trait of should we say “arrogance” that they have no right to claim. Also, I am rather critical, analytical, level-headed, and can be rather caustic, sharp-tongued and impatient with what I see is detrimental behavior toward people who suffer poverty.

Further, I love mysteries, intrigue and just feel that every racist thought is not always a negative but can be an avenue to learning about another’s race. Provocation of behaviors in myself I find always bring out the snoop in me and allows my curiosity to be satisfied by observing various dysfunctional behaviors.

Also, I am a little displeased by my coming surgery and I hate to be sick, worried excessively and like my freedom, independence and hate people nosing into my business. I abhor rudeness but can be rude back if pushed continuously and hate insolent disrespectful people and feel that they deserve the same treatment they throw out. I used to be more adventurous but I find old age creeping on me, but I still like music, like to dance and sing but like to keep it private.

Furthermore, I believe everyone is entitled to an education and should be allowed to go to school without the manner exhibited and this thought personifies me. During my time at school I am dedicated and focused on doing my best before and after my illness which exhibits to me a lot of determination. Therefore, I decided to continue trying to get my degree even with obstacles and trudge full-speed ahead as fast as can.
