The initialization of delinquent youth and young adults in gangs in Michigan are states of emulation of gangs in bigger cities. Rites of passage in gangs have become highly prevalent since the 1800s as the Industrial Revolution evolved, flourished and gained momentum in some of the largest cities in the United States, e.g., New York, Boston and in Philadelphia. One of the most visible and highly acknowledged places of gang activity is located in Chicago and consists of visible displays of aggression especially during periods of rapid growth and tourism. Instead of causing an increase in monetary flourishment this instead has caused a high tension strain on all located in this city because of stressed, deprived assets to accommodate the surge of increased populations.
Because of this the relocation of gang members to other cities where the availability of new turf is available and the lack of resistance is low and the ease of subjugation of the population located there allows acts of criminality with ease and eventual control . Control of drug trafficking is the most lucrative form of acquiring liquid assets, moveability and control of people on substances and is one of the gangs primary functions of gaining the “life”.
Michigan is primarily a state of mostly suburban areas and the possibility of networking with other gangs are highly available with ease of controlling criminal activity undercover with high levels of not being able to be detected. Gangs for some youth are “status” and the intimidation availability allows quote on quote “prestige and belonging”. Instead of gang rivalry there appears to be a truce ongoing and a steadily imposing threat of the insidious unknown ensuring. Gangship is at its best able to form an invisible pattern to mesh and meld into society if there is a common goal that they want to obtain.

Conflictive clashes against gang members sometimes may cause a unison of action to cause others to form attacks whether on one, several or groups of authority. The pleasure of usurping authority is what appeals to youth and the thought that adults can be manipulated and utilized as “straw men” to do their bidding with pretense of attacks whether verbally or physically. Due to a youth’s susceptibility, naiveté, the act of duplicity is easily available to use them to achieve a common goal especially if the youth is from a problematic home by gang members.
As a gang member or associate the availing of the truth or betrayal will never be relayed and serves as a stance to continue to attack and subdue any and all viewed as a common threat to gang members involved in criminal activity. Because of this the control asserted by gangs is a constant elusive and detriment to society and although the participants are of young age this does not make them any less dangerous, ruthless and a serious threat that should not be taken lightly.
Recruitment of youth consists of beguilement of youth as young as the age of seven and includes the lure and promise of glamour, fast money, “living the life”, women, notoriety, fame, and staying cold and alive in the street and representing the piece. Being taught “the way” by so-called old school the way of the street as they know it has evolved into what is known as “thugness” and the “tight” by older men who were in gangs in their youth and passed on to younger generations to fulfill rites of passage. Also, because of financial stress in the economy and lack the age of initialization into gangs has widened to allow older people due to release from prisons with no prospects or availability to survive on the outside. to society and because they lack opportunities they are a threat to any and all who are better off than their self. Supergangs which could consist of thousands or tens of thousands are able to destroy and intimidate at will and could effectively cause destruction of political careers easily with networking with professional criminals to assist. Gangs of yesterday were a task to deal with and were easily predictable but now with all this technology it is a super daunting foe to all in this country because the majority of the population are relatively “green”, naïve and easy to beguile with either seduction or with monetary bribes. Massive and huge these gangs are people who act against one and some are unaware they have been involved in gang activity and are at risk because they know primary persons in the gangs who are posing as seemingly innocent people or everyday citizens.
Based on the theory “once in – stay in for life thru death part” these are people who care not for authority and whose main goal is control, manipulation, power and reflects that they are their own corporation, territorial if separate but relaxed if joined if a common enemy needs to be taken down and are a true parasite, scavenger on people in society and a blight and affliction to all.
Because of this serious gang activity the Federal Bureau of Investigation has established a Violent Gang Task Forces to address vicious gang activity and solicitation of assistance in criminal acts. Purposely studying gang activity and procedural functioning, their mission is to circumvent, control, and halt activities viewed as hostile acts against legalistic and societal norms. Combining theory of street activity and underground investigation this allows the infiltration into gangs and capture and dissolving of gangs. Utilizing key facets of investigation involve the

Safe Streets Task Force and methodology of Enterprise Theory of Investigation (ETI) and allow the goal to flush out, prosecute all in the gang from the ground up with relative success but still those of elusiveness still exist but have gone down.
