A Love of My Own
Eyes of question looked deep within soul of quiet content
Tall dark and quick he walked with honor, integrity, dignity, silent pride and quiet withdrawn
Respectful to all he showed a raising that touched all around free and wide
Silent encouragement he gave me coaxing sweet from me painful shy until I spoke free
Eyes asparkle he came to tease torment and challenge his sweet plain rose of love to love return
Grabbing her free until world revolve he twirled her in circle of 360◦ until her heart fainted overcome with love
Grasping his hand of hardened labor toil she kissed softly and said I love always you forever thru
Shyness overcame features of sculpture as he straightened tall and walked home ajaunt
A day of shadow deep became a sadness in heart as she watched from afar a day she cursed it for a lover torn from a soul which became horridly still for three days she passed within
From soul to soul she questioned who who who as she bestill the prayer for heaven to keep him safe all
Awakening to the sound of weeping of a mother’s torment she returned with a light of glow within her soul
A hand to a heart whose very sheer glow became a light to all around glowed until both became quiet peace with knowledge of fate safe
Hand in his she swore to be his only his until her days became none
