A Sunseeking Paradise Knows No End

Inspired by Travel written by Robert Louis Stevenson located in A Children’s Book of Verse, Illustrated by Eric Kincaid, Poems selected by Marjorie Rogers. (Brimax Books)

Eyes wide brimming with curiosity they glisten as stars shimmer

Watching shadows and valleys pass swiftly by she cares for naught but the sun caress

Jingle jingle she smile as the coins tinkle in her palm as she buy

Africa Africa she hear the voice of tremendous shout of explore explore the riches of earth safari

Dreaming dreams she watched the demons run run in confused state as she laughed happy all day long

Caribbean twist she hope to go for happy is the love of banana quick papaya sweet

Seeking a paradise knows no end as she revolve revolve around and around
