Crocodile Dunny said Beware My Bite

Inspired by If you should met a Crocodile written by Anonymous located in A Children’s Book of Verse, Illustrated by Eric Kincaid, Poems selected by Marjorie Rogers. (Brimax Books)

Teeth agleam they sparkle right to left drooling with hunger deep

Lazing lazily in sun of sparkle sun warming hide of texture he swished tail of lethal

Warning deep in eyes of feral yellow death watch evilly the approach of prey on tuft
of own

Saying beware my bite he opened jaws of showing teeth of razor sharp long

Yum Yum Yum stick and poke me and I’ll eat you up good fat and I’ll get bigger bigger
and bigger

Don’t forget I’m in the high grass and ready for my dinner snap
