A Calling for the Sea

Inspired by Sea-Fever Romance written by John Masefield located in A Children’s Book of Verse, Illustrated by Eric Kincaid, Poems selected by Marjorie Rogers. (Brimax Books)

A bubbling in me heart is a thrist for the open sea and rolling of my feet of decks of slippery

The thrill of air of salt ripping free atasting the crave of adventure I be all day long

Walking decks of slick affirm with rolling gait I shift from shift with smiles of wild

Never alone do I feel for God walks the water firm hard open in the most high and levels of sweet accessibility

Ahoy Ahoy I call to ship to ship to share gossip afriend afriend with free parlay parlay

Exhiliration thrilling to feel running rivers of lightening through hands to form twisting as she called it home

Mercenary, courier, marketeer no matter the reason the call the call is strong strong to seduce, beguile and lure to ride the savage seas and oceans wide
