Once upon a time there lived a strong courageous mouse named Tiki. He was a prince in Mazeland where the life was always challenging. Everybody loved him especially the girls. He was always going on an adventure and on his latest venture he heard about a princess that had been kidnapped by Evil Crow who held her in his castle and who was made to sleep in a cave in Switland.

He started packing everything that he would need on his trip. He walked up and down the tall harsh mountains. When he reached the top of the second mountain the wind was blowing dirt in his eyes. If he had not been so strong, he would have been blown down the mountain. He clung to rocks until his hands begun to get numb. Finally, at last he spotted a cave and he begin to inch his way toward it crawling on his knees through the whipping whistling wind.

The cave was dark and gloomy and he could still see the wind whirling and whipping up dust so that it looked like a hurricane. Then he heard a curious sound like a flute playing and he lighted his torch and followed the enchanting elusive music.

It was as if somebody was weaving a spell around him. Soon he came to a round doorway and he peeped into the room and saw a beautiful girl mouse playing a flute hauntingly and so sadly that it brought tears to his eyes. He stepped into the room silently and quietly to not disturb her. He didn’t notice that a dwarf was standing on guard until he sounded the alarm by ringing the bell and shouting “We have been invaded!” over and over at the top of his voice.

Suddenly, there were about fifty guards surrounding him with the Captain of the guards shouting “Surrender at once or be killed”. Slowly, Tiki raised his hands in the air and admitted to himself that at the moment he was defeated. The guards took him to the dungeon and locked him up but after a while he escaped from the filthy cell.
He went to rescue the girl from her torturous state of prison. The girl mouse gasped with fright and said “What are you doing here? Don’t you know that if you are found here you will be killed immediately?”

“I’m here to help you escape and I know already that I could be killed” Tiki confirmed anxiously, ready to go before they were discovered. “Now come on before it’s too late.” They climbed down the grill and ran toward the round doorway but before they could pass through it. The Evil Crow showed up in all his magnificence. “Where do you think you are going with my future bride?” Evil Crow thundered in a voice that shook the mountains and the ground.

“I’m taking her far, far, far away from you so that she won’t be in your reach no longer.” Tiki said with great impudence.

“You are not going anywhere because she will marry me and you will be doomed to die right on this field!” Evil Crow said violently.

“Do you really think so, I think not. I believe that you will be the one who will be defeated.” Tiki said impertinently.

“Then, let us start” bellowed the Evil Crow.

They threw bolts of lightening at each other until the sun begun to creep up. The Evil Crow tried to run away but he couldn’t go anywhere because Tiki had him trapped so that he couldn’t go anywhere but to stay there and fight.

The sun was up fully in the sky and because he was evil incarnate and soul of dark and hate, Evil Crow begun to burn and cried “Help me!” In a few more minutes he was burned to a crisp leaving Tiki and the unknown girl mouse to leave the cave hand in hand and fly away to Mazeland to be married in a few days.
