MY ODE TO EARLINE HOLLIS AND MY MOM (MARY A. BARNETT)

Another grip of mine is the Chore Provider Program that does not sufficiently meet the needs of citizens who are sick and unable to make it due to illness.

The list of chores that they (State of Michigan) provide payment for does not incorporate the driving of the client to the doctor or anything else that would need to be done. I feel that this list of chores that they(State of Michigan) pay for needs to be studied and adjusted because I did not get paid to cut grass and have not been paid and it has been over five months and I feel that both of us is being discriminated against.

This person has been to the doctor and they listed the kind of help she needs but are unwilling to pay for any service that they don't have on a list. Five months is a long time to wait for payment for services that have been provided. I am generous to a fault but if I am working I expect to be paid in a timely fashion and not be seen as working while black and being cheated for the ethnic nature of being black.

Everybody else has been paid and I am treated as not a citizen...whose has rights BUT AS lower than an animal in this city (precious City of Saginaw) how I LOVE THIS TREATMENT. ANY HURTFUL TREATMENT IS ALWAYS DONE TO SOMEONE BLACK FOR NO ONE CARES FOR US ... DO THEY?

My client is being treated bad as hell and she can barely walk without breathing so hard that it whistles out of her mouth and nobody cares but me...I am only one person but I am trying to help anyway.

I CARE FOR HER AND ANY OTHER PERSON BEING TREATED BAD. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A CHANGE! She is old and has lived here a long time and so has other elders and no one cares because they are full of disrespect and hate for themselves and others. I am trying to help but it takes more than one person to make a difference.

I LOVE WHERE I CARE.

Further there should BE a PROGRAM TO HELP OTHER ELDERS WHO ARE SICK AND NEED SOMEONE TO HELP THEM...I FEEL THEY SHOULD BE INCORPORATED INTO THIS PROGRAM. IF MY MOM GETS SICK SHE SHOULD BE ALLOWED SOMEONE TO HELP HER EVEN THOUGH SHE IS NOT ON THE SAME SYSTEM AS EARLINE. SHE HAD A BAD INFECTION IN HER LOWER LEG AND NO ONE THOUGHT OF HER ENOUGH TO PAY SOMEONE TO HELP HER UNTIL SHE GOT BETTER AND ABLE TO FEND FOR HERSEF AGAIN. WHY ARE PEOPLE SO VICIOUS TO THE OLDER GENERATION?

PLEASE HELP FOR HELPING THEM HELPS OTHERS IN NEED. :)
