Jeffrey Allen McCaw

(Brother of Mine)

Small Jeff red brother of the Indian Sioux

Handicapped with a limp he walked uneven up and down but he pressed on and on

Disparity unfair was the world to him bullied unmercifully was he by the pack of yellow fangs they called themselves

Deeds done quiet they think no one know but the world see and travels the thought to us all

Children he brought forth I have never seen but two and hope they know we care (me and mom) for we wish them safe free passage through the wreckage of day and night

Blood is blood and tight is tight for the measure of us all is the thought I remember what you told me years passed and kept it right fierce

We are the underdogs but God is the overseer and the people are the might he uses against the evil sickle they try to be

Blessed be all who help you and thine brother for I care I care always
