Daisy L. Jackson

(Aunt of Mine)

My aunt second mother she was from day one to forever a crystal will say

Remembrance of her make me smile for she loved me as her own and I her as a mom

She lost her husband early in her marriage and nearly collapsed at her loss but I held her hand and said come back come back for need have I of you as a mom

Opening her eyes she smiled and said you have a mom and said I smart as a whip crack you’re my mom too and kissed her cheek and crawled up the chair to wash dishes

Composing herself she awaited her client and fixed her hair perfect and began the healing process of continuing on and living with dates and beaus to court her later

I smiled and clasped her hand and told her I loved her over and over and to live as long as she could for all of us are here for her when she became ill and then passed
