A Raven’s Dance

Twirling Swirling he sang a song of old new

Saying thank you thank you God for the feast

I was hungry sad lonely until he told me the way

Go go to mother’s house and she will feed you for you are the sweetest of sweet

Tears laughter bubbling within she watched watched as he danced one step two step twirl swirl and opened his beak and sang long long

Looking at the others he invited dance and sing with him for our Poppa God and Jesus loves us true they do

A Wood Woman

One day a woman of wood stood in the sun and became anew

She watched all with looks of scowls and mean eye

Looking at all with no emotion she acknowledge full stoicism hers

Contrary Contrary she looked as her heart died

Wind rain snow she stood fast and rolled an eye this way and that and hissed sighing louder louder

Debating on why she saw a sight that stirred her curiosity intrigue and made her alive

Running running she picked up an infant of lost and made her her own and scowl no more emotion she felt free contrary no more eyes rolled no more for her heart jumped and cried mine with sweetness of all joy

Now a wood woman no more

Blood and its Magic

Inspired by A Drop of Blood, written by Paul Showers, Illustrated by Don Madden.

Inside spiraling like a tree is vessels of veins that carry blood everywhere inside our bodies freely

If a prick of skin makes a hole out flows the blood to wash the spot and prepare for healing today

Whether large or small comes what may the flow free to sanitize the spot to build a fibrin net to scab

Blood is full of cells of red that float in plasma oceans

Tiny Tiny are the cells that joyously dance and play for they are round flat and look like a mint of gold

Magic is the blood for they move like busy traffic lanes coming going flowing rich free

Puff Puff is the oxygen in the red cells that received its help help from the lungs to deliver to all muscles bones brain stomach intestines and your heart

Assimilate fine is food food into liquid of nourish to blood which helps everything strong grow to every bone muscles fingers toes brain

Taping along is white cells bigger bigger than red cells but fewer fighting fighting with protective care against germs with capricious appetite devouring all

Platelets run run cover a cut by helping build a net of fibrin threads catching red white cells within to form a scab of protective cover

Revolving evolving over over red white cells platelets begin anew day by day replacing renewing renewing over over

A Good Acorn

Boisterous laughter filled the air as rivers of delight tickled teeth of two

Head of hair cascading down shoulders of slim as she looked with lashes of long curly laugh

Fa la la la la she song a song in sweet soprano of clear high sweet of melodies of many

Looking at her feet of small she danced and sighed for her debut to scintillate and sparkle as rainbow’s wish for dreams to exist more more

Scrolls of colors of blue beguiled the sky as clouds of fluffy came below and pleaded sweet to step on me as we begin the travel of more more

Sitting straight as rose she waved with sweetness as the world revolved hello and serenaded her gently back

Smiles of love cascading in luminous thoughts as she became the new marvels of language became none as sweetness waltz by and grace became all as dignity descended full

A good acorn became the heart
