The Baby in the Jar

Small enough to fit in palm of hand little quiet were they all

He cooed quietly as he nestled in comfort as thumb became his blanket warmth

Features of delicate sketch showed ancestry of races combined

Frame of symmetry reflected sculpture of form to full pleasing to increase to each phase of manhood

Diamond of sapphire lights circled his head ahalo as he opened one eye and sleepily watched his mother coo to her daughter of twin

As he her features were finer sweet with lips of full red bloom suckling quiet as she laughed giggled as nourishment filled her stomach full

Mother mother she looked in the jar and alas another crawled to the top and said I am he same as the first and I hunger also

Cuddling sweet little she was placed in swaddling clothes and covered warm and he was picked up and feed too until little tummy said I am pleased fine

All three content they all sigh and the stars cried for peace peace peace Lord God peace peace peace

Forgive us not for we fallow and sallow and the tears of Arach cried with sympathy but the war continued and God looked looked and heard heard and kept his counsel still and none knew for he trust not now

Heart aflamed aflame looked aside for she she she
