Inspired by Arrow to the Sun, by Gerald McDermott, A Pueblo Indian Tale.
Upon a time when the Sun Gods ruled the Earth the Lord of Sun enlightened the Earth and made it rich fruitful with life
Traveling with intelligent speed from the sun through skies of clouds it arrived at a house of where a young maiden of tribe of pueblo lived
Enticing the fruit of life a boy came into the world of men to start
Living young until older he played in the house of pueblo excluded from games of recreation for orphaned was he and mocked fiercely
Sad was the lot of his and his mother for his ostracism hurt him so and he decided to search search for him wherever his journey lead him
Traveling traveling he asked corn planter to lead him to his father but was ignored left the way and continued in the world of men
Continuing he went to the pot maker he asked can you lead me to my father and once again he was ignored and her work proceeded on long
Fortitude persistence allowed him to go to the arrow maker of wisdom and asked if he could lead him to his father and replied he with a special arrow that became the boy
Craftmanship denied not the arrow maker fitted the boy to bow and arched wide into the sky and he traveled far to the sun
Arriving as the time allowed he saw the Lord of Son and his smile and declare loudly proclaimed him Father and his
announcing that he was his sun
Looking at him full he said you must pass the rituals of four chamber that follow as The Kiva of Lions, The Kiva of
Serpents, the Kiva of Bees, and the final Kiva of Lightening
Fierce and unafraid he told his father I will I will endure these trials to prove my worth my worth my worth
Enduring the trials of three of the final trial of Lightening he became transformed and filled with the Power of Sun of Strength renewed and rejoiced with his father for he became a vessel to bring his spirit to all men and women
The boy became the arrow transformed and travelled home to Earth and his mother in the small pueblo ad later celebrated his finding his father and becoming a man in the Dance of Life
