Hello to everyone in the world.
Even those of color are classified or labled as black or are interchangebly referred to as African American in this country. I prefer either reference because our true roots are Mother Africa and I feel no shame in claiming the origins of my roots. Further I do not wish to lose the true consequence of why (blacks or African Americans are in this country). I am one who has been forged as I am and have been assimilated into this culture of America but still hold pride where my forefathers hailed from and my origins of birth and my true roots of Timbuktu, Zula, Mongolia and Asia of nations of one line of birth.
Even though I am American born I still wish to know my culture and the roots of who I am and feel honored and entitled to learn anything of my own people (tribe), place and land of my heart.
This is the only home that I know (America) and in this country I feel welcomed but it is all I know and I claim and give honor, pride and devotion to help ensure our own safety because of my privilege to be here.
I thank god for the mercy of my benefactors who saved me and allowed my continuance. I am working hard as I can and keeping myself honest as hell for the love of my children and their chance in this society.
