BLACK BUTTERFLY

Shadows of light flaring deep

Sky of Azure lingering wings of fresh black casting eyes of dawn

Soaring grace majestic cresting points

Twirl and slash downward flips of lance proud

Caressing face of stern and proud

Patience and sweet dwells the heart of wings furled across

Head tilted face averted downward smile

Brushing gently and smoothly turned wings around

Tears of joy of freedom still mine

Leaping and carousing of parties no one knows

Humor crease the wing of left

Laughter tucks the wing of right

Nose of refine turns and tilt

Roundness of form say be mine still

Rainbow of laughter trail and say be mine divine

Clouds of green, yellow, pink, purple say choose me more

Black Butterfly say caress me and pat me turn and revolve

Shadows are not a blend of great narrow

Leaps of past not bad as yesterday’s noon

Zoom Zoom faster faster faster part all see you all

This poem was inspired by Paul who never gave in to my tantrums
and did not allow me to have my way.
