A Little Bee Named Charley and friend Nicholas

Looking fair and wide stood a Little Bee called Charley

Sitting on a little polka dot stump of interest Charley wished for a friend

In a twinkling of an eye the happy little polka dot stump said I can make your dream come true

Looking far inside Peter spinned himself forward and back incanting "ya ba ya ba friend of mine and yours come forth"

Clouds bloomed and rolled with sounds of weird chuckling within "come ye come ye o' sweet Nicholas"

Walking slowly with eyes of curiosity Nicholas said "here I am and who be you to ask me to come"

I am just a little polka dot stump named Peter whose heart looks within and saw a tear in little Charley's eye

Nicholas hand stretched out as Charley landed with eyes of compassion he wiped a tear from eyes of melt

I'll be your friend stroking him with tender care and grinning a grin of camaraderie free

Thanking Peter with effusive kindness Nicholas patted him with grateful delight for a friend indeed is his for life

Off we go to adventure land with Charley riding high and grinning wide patting Nicholas with glee and saying "I'm his"

One Shoe Jack

Glistening on a tear a lightening bolt glimmered far and near

Along came a man storming through the clouds and the wind

Whispering on the wind came a sound far wide near

Silhouettes beckoned say come near "One Shoe Jack"

Teeth flashed white hard and hungry speaking for themselves saying "yes"

Symbolic as the world revolves he looked deep within souls of dark, good, evil with a proposition of question

Hanging in the air was a deal of great with a taste of mean

Who you be asked One Shoe Jack eyes crinkled with silent mirth

Amused you be at our deal we thought of great care and sweetness coming green and fair

What be this job of green and fair asked the none loquacious loner One Shoe Jack with his hand aspread on his version of truth

A mystery is afloat in this City of Beslam and its quest for excitement is sure to drive a thirst amad to figure One Shoe howled loud and deep with riverting chuckles running through his mind of cad as his eyes slitted with acceptance, lips thinned with glee for indeed the parlor is spider and his deeds are known

His reputation is notorious, infamy is his game and unrivaled throughout the land as the adventure runs, turns clear and wide

Loyal as each day sings it sweet mournful sigh
Mysteries lay deep within as she watches quiet thought as time of meet sings a sweet song
Contrary not be she as she listens so sweetly to a voice who says hers
Lilting songs caress the air as she flies to and fro
Eyes brim with love and pleasure watching her fly with speed and grace

Island - Book Lesson with CD (verbal)

Book One: Shipweck
Disc 1
With a verbal cd that accompanies the Book.

This book describes an adventure about six kids, one shipwreck and one desert island. Involved in this scenario is Luke, J.J., Will, Lyssa, Charla, and Ian who unfortunately suffer a calamity during a storm which overwhelms the schooner and broadsides it by clashing against it with ferocity.

The purpose is what are we searching for…and it includes taking deductive notes (mental and written). Also, to ensure that comprehension is done, any word that is not clear should be looked up and placed in a sentence of your own making to ensure that this word is now a part of your vocabulary. The next step is to examine the contents of each paragraph and reflectively write what does the paragraph tell you what is going on and its purpose and how does it interlap with the next paragraph.
Next, is to analyze how each chapter is introduced in the story and what is the relevance to the story and how did the previous chapter lend its assistance in continuing to the next chapter. Further, look at it in a suspicious way so the proper changing in your mindset is allowed to grasp the change and compel further thinking about the subject and the participants in the story and the activities.
Now, comes the true intriguing part and that is to learn to analyze and read between the lines that the author is giving to each individual reader.

Example

Prologue
Saturday, July 15, 2010 hour

In this section is the introduction of the time, the name and what happened to the ship, and the type of storm and what else about the storm was described and what did it do to the ship?

As you read through the prologue, what is the purpose of this section? Was this section covered adequately to understand the powerlessness of the schooner in the storm? If you did a hypothesis what would I write about this scenario? Could any ship withstand the meaness of nature compelling its strength and power against her? Next, look to see how the prologue leads into Chapter One and make mental and written notes. Again, the purpose is to learn the gist of the chapter and finds the themes that make a book a true telling of the adventure in written form.

Chapter One
Sunday, July 9, 2140 hours

As we go to the next chapter the date and time is a starting point of the adventure and introduction of one of the characters that this book is written about. Who is the first character introduced in this book? And what is the next person introduced in the book? What is his nature indicated to be? How does Luke react to his behavior towards him? Is Luke flippant or insolent? Does Luke take this in his stride as being comedic or does he look at him in a condescending manner? Is Luke suffering resentment at being on the ship? Does Luke suffering any foreboding? Is Luke naïve about being on a ship and green or inexperienced? Who is the next character to appear in the book interacting with Luke and Mr. Radford? Or did he interact with Mr. Radford? Is there an explanation of why the next character is on the boat? What is Luke manner when the lights were cut off and his having to learn the lingo for being on the ship, etc.? Did Luke tell why he received a charge for his felony? Did the firearm belong to Luke?
Next, is to use the above example and find the link or theme to connect to the next chapter?

Chapter Two
Monday, July 10, 0820 hours

What is the link? Luke is the link with the introduction and description of the Captain of the ship with his explanation as to why Luke and the others are on the Phoenix? Why is Luke on the Phoenix?
The rest of the investigative purpose is up to you to seek and find the reason for this book and whether good character and the changing of mindsets and good will, purpose, responsibility and good character will result from this treatment and training? Further find out what time is this compared to everyday time?

Treat each book like this and you will find that you are a better reader and analysis?
