Crime and Passion Unstill Night

Listen to the cry of the sirens
What goes on now?
Crime and passion fly with wings
Thoughts unseen deeds cruel
Mean as fire flesh and blood
Lightening flash stabbing chair
Cry inside my eyes dare
Listen not please fall alive
Hands quiver and shake
Bowed head with sorrow's need

Poor and Wretched

Poor man walks the street
Bare and cold is he
Feet shod in sleet
Face cold and meek
Life barren and dear
Soul cold and weary
Goal to survive is he
Life toil heavy and deep
Seep into his soul despair deep
Mean are the people to him
Savage and cruel are they to he
Till death comes to free

Chained Poet

If a poet cannot be free
What is he
But a fool with a chain around his neck
See not him but
Hear his verse
Sweet of tongue
Questioning him not
For far along he travels
On a quest that he may not win
Fallen from thine eye
Tears shed free

CLOSE THE M.F.DOOR

Every word a lash on my back
Mouth firm
Straighter I stand

Foolish Heart

O’ that my heart should go faint at the sight
Of thine beloved face
That my soul should weep tears of joy
From thine nearness
Hearken unto me O’ dove of joy
That my love should flee thee not
But that I should stand steadfast in thy petals of love
O’ sweet joy that though is
Leave my side nay
But stay forever in my heart and love
Today, Yesterday & Today
Forever more may they I lovest thee now and Forever

SADNESS

O’ such sorrow fills the heart
Wandering why makes it stop
Ceaseless beat, ceaseless twists
Why must life be so hard
And knoweth not why it
Stoppeth not this ravaging beast
Which devours the soul
And leaves it bleak
As night

By Felicia McCaw

LOVE

Be still O’ foolish heart
Dare you leap and twist
When your fate is so unknown
You seeketh and searcheth but will
Thou findeth what you wisheth
Or will you fade and wither away
For what thee seeketh is worthy of
Few but seeked by many
