Solemn Faces

Looking around near the circle full

Sad and blue is those clear and new

Brown faces clear and unwise

White faces secret and deep

Hispanic faces unsure and certain

Chinese faces void and clear

Smiles deep buried within and wide

Dimples deep slashes flash inwardly

Mean and snobby is face spiral wildly

Winter fall summer spring same routine

Children faces droopy little faces cry

Teenagers faces smug and know it all

Old people faces quiet with knowledge of old

Parental faces think they know it all

Men and women faces seem to blast their own trumpet

Sorry solemn faces you can stay same

In this day and time does anyone give a damn?

Keep to yourself is best to be

Ridiculous behavior reflect on the most intellectual façade

Righteous faces smirk wide and far as me

Self-contempt for themselves come through crystal clear

Pitiful analysis gather poet true

Sad solemn faces know one and all

Great thunder balls we care don’t we all

Listen far and wide solemn faces façade crack through

Oh well solemn faces we leave sin to all

Guess what people are different and see nothing worthy keep

New generation of fool’s manufacture by obsolete parental smirk

Solemn faces when end become them all

Too bad sun never shine for solemn faces

LILY AND THE SNOW

Strutting in the cold white fluff.

Lily never knew the cold.

Life young and free was her little nose aglow.

What this stuff Ma said Lily?

Its old Winter’s dandruff said Ma.

Around and around she danced niggle and smile.

It’s not blue, red, yellow or green as rainbow Jed.

White and pure as good secret rainbow said Lily.

Wow she cry and say my life will never be same.

HONEYWOOD THE MAIN MAN

A man of renown for his tricks were many
and his prowess knew no bounds.
Ladies here and there clamored for his touch.
Hot and slick was his way.
Shit talking and gambling was his game.
Never a day was his play lame.
Shake a leg here and everywhere was his pain.
Giggle and wiggle was his every man shame.
Loving free and sad was daylight when he left and came.
Legs wide and free said the frisky ladies was his claim to fame.
Passion and lust was everyday his and no one can tame.
Looking far and right wide and near where is this Honeywood now.

THE HUNT FOR JOSEFINA

Stars brights as flashing moons.
Wind shipping cold hard as whip clouds blocking obscuring
a full moon sight.
Feet flying as fast as a doves heart.
Hair braided cut tight and firm.
Sweat pouring from every pore as porcupine skin.
Rags flapping as a jersey light against a frame thin frail.

KOUTA MAMA

Kouta Mama
(A rendition between myself and my niece Imani.)

My name is unique.
Big mama named me.
I am little Imani with eyes big and wide.
I see a little cat who is furry, quiet, humble and has black and white eyes.
She has a black nose and is really smart and sensitive.
She has few friends but God loves her true.
Such a sad life she has but she is always good and kind.
Gods says he will keep her close because she is so plain.
He says he loves her better than all the prettier cats because she
does everything he tells her to do.
Humble is her lot and love expressed so sweetly that she makes
Licia think that she is just like Kouta Mama and appreciates her lot in life
even more. I am still learning and feel young and old at the same time.
I am little Imani who is just a little girl looking with eyes big and wide at this big world.

Stefan said “ I am just blessed to be so.”
Imani said “You are so funny – I like you.”
Stefan said “You ain’t bad yourself.”

THE BRUTAL TRUTH

Simplistic values carried too far.
Mad sins flying through sky a twist a more.
Life good values clear and not.
Children raised I fear not.
Adults clean and pristine example may not or may.
Lies to self and others they spread around.
Never fear the truth is known sad day for a crieth fool.
Watch a dog chase his tail and guess the clue.
Remember brutal truth can't won't be accepted.
A fool is near and will sear the mindless fool with rippling stupidity.
Click clack goes the attacker I ain't scared.
Po Po can sin and be a pussy cat and lay aside.
Blackey say great thats your spoke to turn.
Money people spite malice drives crazy poor people mad with greed.
Rockafellar ain't mirrored just the poverty stricken sods that dance a tune.
Ripple rock this men ain't what I cal kosher.
Sad a day when race reflects barbaric traits cave and bone.
Accused of many by the few and proud that all be told but is it true?
That they sin not and lie not all but elaborate to make a few dollars more off misery and suck.
Invited to a picnic of intrigue but ran away by black savages aglee with turning the spit and knife in poor mindless fool back now front.
If a brain lay in spider web please provide because a lie is a lie and a jester is one for all represented by the ignorant ones that surf the hall.
See I quote "I told you so" mindless fool hates us all for starting the shit but
who cares color of skin protest the mob.
Tinkle tinkle goes a clue life is strange and so are you.
Suffer for the masses thats what you do and remember you came here aslavin.
Not the princess or queen you say you be.
Quote "She thinks she's all that" great brainwork I've always thought can't do without this cherish thought.
My mind likes twisted warped perceptions and say "wow".
Keep tune for the sparkling additions of pieces left out and fill in the blanks with your thoughts.
Great to catch a fool anapping like you.
Keep the riddler riddle alive.
