FLY BALLOON AS YOU MAY

(A special prose poem)

Balloon flying high in the sky, fleet of
feet they are of lovers quest running down a merry
lane they go where no one knows but they. Sad and happy
paint upon their faces they wiggle and chase a lad
down a narrow aisle of flowers sweet going faster than
merry go rounds twirl of gray and yellow. "Help" he
calls I cannot be a merry balloon I am not seen many
twirls a turns I will not be. Kaleidoscopes aglow in one
corner is to seek a sad and lonely soul to capture and keep
but not aglow a true wish. "Lie" cry the boy I have not
agreed to such a folly as then you see. Merry ways are to
much to be. Flap Flap goes the balloons to catch another
glee.

MYSTERY OF AN ENGLISH SONNET

(Sonnet)

Eyes of the sky
Crave the sweet sigh
Fly swift a doves cry
Foolish blink does her eye
Comes the fear of tomorrow row
Sad and happy days aplenty abide
Try as hard at today's tow
Each other has one to take a side
Mean cruel days fly free
Rob tomorrow to pay and end
But yesterday will always see
Lonely days may not seem to bend
Happy days appear always amay
Lovers blue no more but travel and flow

SUNFLOWERS

(Villanelle)

BRIGHT AND YELLOW SWEET
GLEAMING FIERY IN THE AIR
GOLD AND WARM AS THE SUN

BECKON TO ALL WHO SEE
FLUTTER WILDLY IN THE BREEZE
BRIGHT AND YELLOW SWEET

TWIST AND TURN MERRILY DANCE
PETAL YELLOW AND MIDDLE SEA
GOLD AND WARM AS THE SUN

SOLID AND TRIM THEY BE
SPINNING AND TWIRLING AGLOW
BRIGHT AND YELLOW SWEET
LISSOM AND FIRM AS RAINBOWS END
SOFT AS A BABY'S CHEEK
GOLD AND WARM AS THE SUN

FUZZY AS A CATERPILLAR'S LEAP
STALKS STRAIGHT AS A SOLDIER'S BACK
BRIGHT AND YELLOW SWEET
GOLD AND WARM AS THE SUN

LIFE AS IT MAY

(Sestina)

GREAT THINGS COME SMALL
SEA PATTERNS TURN AROUND
LIVE EACH DAY COME WHAT MAY
SAD IS THE DAY IS LONG
MORROW'S SONG CALL THE YOUNG
TODAY WE CELEBRATE A SUDDEN

LIFE IS GOOD AND MAY END SUDDEN
CIRCLE OF LIFE AND WHEEL SMALL
PROTECT AND LIVE FOR THE YOUNG
SAD DAYS MAY SOON END AROUND
YET MORROW'S DAY LAST LONG
BIG AND SMALL IS WHAT MAY

BY FELICIA MCCAW

The Journey Poem

Life began short
Toil and Sweat I began
Feet tingle I thee forth
Money I question not
Around I see that cannot be bought
Up and down the river I flow
Schemes and maps appear before my eye
Begin the quest deny
Kick aside protest do me
For passing this test blue
Makes a traveler quest two
Twinkle around on glitz toes
Many more will I see
Merry I go to lands unknown
Blood hot to not cool it yes
Experience this treasure of life
I free myself of all strife
Traveling, Traveling I go

By Felicia McCaw

FREEDOM POEM

Winds blow calm as night
Owls eyes gleam fierce cold
Mass lights reflect a star made bold
Twinkling, rippling brooks laughing
happily
Two lovers seek to be free
Lovers dance naked freely two
Eyes aglow with raptures delight
the eyes
Sins forgotten through lovers quest
although sins
Merrily spins the cuckoo nest of who
fools merrily
Thoughts of fleeing this savage life
uppermost in thoughts
Mind bogs with plans to be leave
now leave fast
Life short fill with misery work
Till dawn until way after the sun

goes down toil
Abreast a stallion we a teasing
Fly like eagle fleet of wind
Never return may not we
For death awaits they capture we
Love of air as tresses to free
Blink of eye see me never or not

FAMILY POEM #2

The moon was grey and hard
Timeless past thru moonless pale fool
Former summer gleamer
A morrow is a still
Try as I may a cool summer breeze touch my eye seen
Mother tough hard soft
mean harsh mellow
Sometimes not seen hard
Eternally young old senile
Bright gloom happy
Smart bright flash
Noisy loud chatter box quiet
Moon was old and young yet ageless
Group together fellows strive mercy
Separate part mesh bind and stayStill creep the moon at night
Cold air chill soul alone
Tail donkey impossible
A forest field crossed
Family is a mirror of all who see
Centuries span and end in a brief second
Life is a string that has no end
Blood is to real as life is to mother
Faith is to clock that see a true mother
Newborn is to generation that sets a mother apart
Family is to directions that still aflame a mother’s heart
Directions is to meet as way is to sorrow
Life is to change as Mother is to stay
Eyes bright and full tears of what do
Sad is to night as laughter is harken
Strength is to eternal as flesh is to weaken
Age is to eternal as youth as to chirp
Hands clasped solace gained not
Lowered head lifted high
Back straight walk tight
Mind clear starry winds no hear
Harsh cold discipline not
Cool hot sweat tinkle from furrow brow
Lazy thought never conceived work

endless toil a lot
Loyalty never question steadfast on

degree a chart
Reading span attention exceed stars
People is to nectar and sweet as honey

do she be
Help one help all is creed that is to life
Travel hesitate not see beyond drawn

curtains eye
Paper is to writing as writing is to forever
Contentment is as a cup of spring water

to a man who thrist

LOVE POEM

World turns each way, No place will I
be allowed to stay
Flip this way and that pledge thou not,

My mind is awhirl with all thoughts I see,
I hear, I care not, My truest love I wait for thee
Turns, twists, obstacles have blessed my path,

I wonder not why,
I found you not My soul hunger for

thy sweetest touch
My love is aflame with desire not, See me, hear

me, my world has stopped in one place, My mind
has stilled with leaps and jumps
I see, I care, I hunger aflame with loves quest,

Once my heart was ice and stone, Not it is
what, Touch me love least I perish from
starvation though I feast, Let my love not dry,
See me, hear me, enslave my heart,
Let not tomorrow be a folly twist
See me, hear me, shelter me in thine

strong arms and let my
head rest against thine strong chest and

let thy heart ring in my ear
Love me till tomorrow's yesterday.

CHILDHOOD POEM

Life is short and sweet
Childhood is secretive and alone
Eyes big and small
Mind flowing deep
Hands tiny, sweet and trusting
Love as deep as forever
Forms small and big
Tree to sorrow bright
See me love me until endless night
I am yours from beginning end

By Felicia McCaw

The God Poem

Hard is a stone
Mercy soft as a hand
Give me thine hand
and mercy will I bestow thee
Ask me and I will lead thee
Follow and I will see thee
Look at me and I will Pray for thee
Love me not and I will forsake thee
Cherish me an I will keep thee and
bestow mercy Forever

Black Tibeaus

I see before me life so true
Eyes agleam with mischief
Broad of shoulder he be
Slim of hip I see
Skin aglitter with sweet sweat
Hair curly as a rainbow
Black as the sweet night
Nimble and quick with flash agility
Straight and narrow a path he walks

Sirens Call

I hear the siren far and near
Who has died now or has trouble deep
Below is a meadow with deep furlows
To receive aplenty of those who sleep
Sweet and low is it to keep
For those who fly away and whose graver may
never seep
Fly away my dear and near one
Least I come near and have no heap
Torn and am I for their is no one to peep
My love one was one to keep me on seat
Sorry I am that no one carer
Believe me sweet I live today
For yesterday I have no Monday
But sad am I that I cannot see
My life is not a melody
No music in life I have not today
Far and near I cannot be
My life is a yesteryear with you not near
Nights aflame with sadness
I cannot end this madness that took you from here

By Felicia McCaw

Prejudice

Cruel a fate this be
That tomorrow's man cannot be
Nothing as thin air is he
Regard for one as naught they say
Look South and North
Far and wide East and West
Torn inside are those troubled deep
Helpless to those as cruel
Yield not a strong
Steel rod he be
Willow is to bend
Wind is have no end
Soon morrow come
Free of this pain come soon
Breaks again and again they say
Proud looks remain is those troubled
No one else carries the shame
Others hate carries the blame
Sorrow will be their game

By Felicia McCaw

INSIGHT

Eyes open shut then open
See a morrow's moon
Far fetched they say is life
Truth will come to you
Rivers of pain ride deep
Accusers heart will not seep
Sorrow's heart gallop free
Never to be ridden is the way to see
Sun and gloom gather deep
Thoughts are questing and flowing wide
Mouths opening wide shutting
Truth flays a person wide
Step away from the tide

By Felicia McCaw

DOVES CRY

Petals of loves joy
Opening shyly they will
A sweet lover tryst
Meadows sweet beckons some
Clasped in my lover's arm
I see or hear nothing world
Involved in life most secret nest
Tremble and sway my bones become nay
I flow I tremble I quack
Stomach pains me hunger fierce
Thought of time have no meaning
Pleasure so swift that doves cry
Tears sparkle withing my eye
I clasp his neck like chain
Trembles ripped my soul apart
Hide no more I cannot
Revealed my sweet sinful sweet
Past times of the pleasure denied long
No one with key to open door
Revealed am I not to all
Only sweet one can make doves cry

By Felicia McCaw

Loves Quest

Such a man is he
Defies the mold you sea
Grace and firm he walks
Makes my thought flight and roam
Heart pound like thunderously chariot
Loins quiver with lightening flashes
Faint am I till I cry
Resurrect me with thy kiss
Rip my threads bare
Ravish me and fill me true
Lips parched I cannot deny
Savage beat mating song
Soul flys on hurricane swirl
Same I never be

CITY HALL

Enter the door dark, gloom
Stricken with repetition
What do you see?
Reptilians slide around
Hiss, Hiss they go we gossip
Dark nests everywhere
Intrigue and mysteries abide
Trouble sport for all
Vicious tongues flay all near
Sin abound within the door
Lustful thoughts flood the gates
Mean and cruel they be to customer's fall
Co-workers beaten down and torn assunder
Slap slap goes the whipping hand
Evil looks at the fool at helm
Ground his bounds they wish be
Stricken with drought ugly follow
Who would follow a fool like he
Not I say me all agree
Rot and stupid his brain be
Not only him this affliction set
Twiddle dee and dumb aplenty
Caution to all who enter shy
Before you bat your eye
No eye left to comfort sight
Enter quick and business conduct
Flee with wings of Pan
Least quicksilver swallow
O' City Hall why by cruel

By Felicia McCaw

City of Saginaw

City of nowhere seen
Small and foul it be
Black nougats abide crazy day
Fumes of soil emit they
Spinning around merry foul
Crazed become all
Forked tongues the way
Batter and splatter all with virtue they do
Slash crash comes the verbal lash
Pain reverberate from a back no more
Righteous anger fill pride
Stand with sword hide
See me not I come to thee
Slick and cruel I will be
Learn your ways I have seen
Lesson teach you will be
For God say forsake the fool
May you lose your sole
Keen of thought know sin
Run fight retreat come again
Finish this fools quest
Maybe you see your least

Riddle until the end of time
I repeat not least I rhyme
Look over shoulder fool
Life is good and so is cruel

Dreams of Sleep

Rock a bye a weeping willow
Cradle of arms I desire
Peaceful slumber evade me
Dreams vivid, clear and lucid
Profound and deep I find them
Rivers of ocean enthrall me
Waves choppy and smooth dance
Wakeful nights are
free to all
Next night comes slumber deep
Peaceful dreams of sleep seduce
No longer flip and flop condemn me
Rest of night cradle as may
Quiet and restful don't disturb
My eyes slumber anyway

By Felicia McCaw

Photographer's Eye

Peep peep in little hole
Vision grace the sky
Unbelievable sight I must capture
Flash fleeting gone forever
Try try I must capture all
Greedy I am for all sights
Illusion fool the unknown
Realist see through true
Eyes bubble as untethered stream
Roam freely traipsed everywhere
Universe my playground space
Dance with glee I capture prey
Thrills of elation fill me full
My photographer's eye fail me not
Sights unseen I need desperately
Travel far and near I will go

By Felicia McCaw

Music Free

Ever hear a melody's cry
Black dots aplenty believe
See how they dance on paper
Trickle trickle a note goes
Embrace the ear sweet as gold
Soul dance and spin waves wide
High and low soft and loud
Fingers trail tenderly down
Play the song of dots pave
Yellow brick we all follow
Heels click and away we go
Thrills and chills slide down
Music free for all who care

By Felicia McCaw

Twinkle Star

Little one little one who you are
Waited for all eternity sweet one
Arms wide open tenderly patiently
Cherish twinkle forever more
Rock rock on my knee strong
Inspire my mind to dream
Twirl and whirl I receive my one
Kiss the little cheek soft spun
Toss in air catch my bundle triple
Little pearls flashing white
Eyes dancing merrily soft
Teach all my little star
Keep safe as Fort Knox
Click click goes little feet
School school goes my little one
Learn all teachers teach least I tear
Twinkle star shine bright white
Glow in my heart and spin freely
Proud proud my lips grin
Twinkle star help all

By Felicia McCaw

Money

Gift of all who seek
Hard and cruel those without
Seeked far and near
Sad and burdened those without
Life comforts it does provide
Greed befall those connive
Cherish it not least it run
Love it above all crash
Lust for it some fools do
Bye money I need all not

By Felicia McCaw

Bend of Rainbow

Color wide and flare
Ripples of light reflect all
Happy kids dance around
Merry go the chase
Blue green yellow red
Arrows flash through sad
Trust compel mass around
From end to end
Bend of time rainbow cry

By Felicia McCaw

Breeze Come What May

Written for Sammie a little precious girl that took my hand
and crawled deep in my heart forever.  I love you always!
Felicia

A sad lonely breeze passed this way
Seeking a small little hand
Smile wide as graceful dawn
Twirl little one twirl
Little feet dance on air
Small hands all aglitter
Grace of this small one amaze
Who belong to this little one sweet
Mama and Dad proud of this blessed sugar bee
All who see fall under her spell ocean wide
Twinkle Twinkle little one on a breeze come what may

By Felicia McCaw

Sunday's Little Morrow

See my little KeiKei
Why he come to me
Fill my heart with grateful deed
My little sugar come only to me
I peak into his eye
Clear, smooth deceptive gloom
Naughty, smart, loving little pea
True or not this little friend of mine
Never foe just love he sea
Trust and love receive he well
See my little KeiKei
Companion lonely not

Stormy Monday

Each day passes into gloom
Old men passing along
Shifting Kaleidoscopes flew
Clocks tick tock back to back
Worker sad and unhappy
Conflict flew in desert storm
Battalion grounds established
White flag flew
Run run fast as a dear
Never return to desert storm
Sorry a day came Stormy Monday

BLACK SEBASTIAN

(The lover of her life and soul)

Hair straight as night rainfall
Eyes hard predatory sherry
Nose straight as green blade
Lips full and puffs of cruel snap
Teeth like strong pearls
Chin carved and square
Neck strong as pillar
Tongue like a whipping adder
Shoulders broad as tomorrow
Chest muscled and carved
Waist an stomach flat and trim
Brawny arms strong enough to crush
Hands strong and hard firm
Thighs carved with muscles writhing and twisting
with each step
Impatient as swirling whip
Growls emit deep within
Conceit rich as cream
Spoiled is he
Calves splendid as flash fire
Feet beautiful and free
I see him in my eye
Thought of him make me sigh
Discontent fills me because it cannot be
Eyes wide I look and see
Blink blink I cannot believe
Breath rush hard and heave heave
Mind awhirl with thoughts that should not
Plead with fate make it so
Fear abound and twirl and roll
Pride set aside as a foolish year
Kiss thee and float on roses swift
Touch him and I burn aflame atorch
Liquid is mind and bones that melt away
Jackass I used to be of famine pleasure
Heels dug deep as ravine fathom
Till I see he and my knees fail me
Waves of crescendo hit me crash
Hide and shelter I cannot find
Flow with him as two rivers merge thunderously
Passion's lure has caught me unaware
Craves of hunger fill my belly pain
Pain of pleasure run through my soul
Tears sparkle in my eyes
Eyes full of rainbow's of hope
Love found I cannot but sigh
Lost forever in his arms
Stir me not for I cannot be
Souls atwine never part

By Felicia McCaw

SWEET FELICIA

Face round as the moon
Eyes shade of liquid brown
Breast full as a mirage
Strong and straight her back
Tenacious as a porcupine heart
Tender as a baby skin
Loving as deep as the ocean blue
Secret as the deep lagoon
Elusive as a dream gone
Changeable as flicker of time
Serious mein her face
Thoughts fleeting and swift
Predictable as future time
Loyal as a clock set

By Felicia McCaw

Crime and Passion Unstill Night

Listen to the cry of the sirens
What goes on now?
Crime and passion fly with wings
Thoughts unseen deeds cruel
Mean as fire flesh and blood
Lightening flash stabbing chair
Cry inside my eyes dare
Listen not please fall alive
Hands quiver and shake
Bowed head with sorrow's need

By Felicia McCaw

Poor and Wretched

Poor man walks the street
Bare and cold is he
Feet shod in sleet
Face cold and meek
Life barren and dear
Soul cold and weary
Goal to survive is he
Life toil heavy and deep
Seep into his soul despair deep
Mean are the people to him
Savage and cruel are they to he
Till death comes to free

By Felicia McCaw

Chained Poet

If a poet cannot be free
What is he
But a fool with a chain around his neck
See not him but
Hear his verse
Sweet of tongue
Questioning him not
For far along he travels
On a quest that he may not win
Fallen from thine eye
Tears shed free

By Felicia McCaw

CLOSE THE M.F.DOOR

Every word a lash on my back
Mouth firm
Straighter I stand

Foolish Heart

O’ that my heart should go faint at the sight
Of thine beloved face
That my soul should weep tears of joy
From thine nearness
Hearken unto me O’ dove of joy
That my love should flee thee not
But that I should stand steadfast in thy petals of love
O’ sweet joy that though is
Leave my side nay
But stay forever in my heart and love
Today, Yesterday & Today
Forever more may they I lovest thee now and Forever

By Felicia McCaw

SADNESS

O’ such sorrow fills the heart
Wandering why makes it stop
Ceaseless beat, ceaseless twists
Why must life be so hard
And knoweth not why it
Stoppeth not this ravaging beast
Which devours the soul
And leaves it bleak
As night

By Felicia McCaw

LOVE

Be still O’ foolish heart
Dare you leap and twist
When your fate is so unknown
You seeketh and searcheth but will
Thou findeth what you wisheth
Or will you fade and wither away
For what thee seeketh is worthy of
Few but seeked by many

By Felicia McCaw

BUTTERFLY CRY

Light as a butterfly
I flutter my wings
On every sigh
I lean into the wind
Then I cry

By Felicia McCaw

A SWEET TRIBUTE TO MY MAN

O SWEET A THOUGHT THAT
I COULD NOT SAY
WHEN HE FILLS ME MY HEART

DOETH CRY WITHIN
MY LOVE OVERFLOWETH WITH THOUGHTS

THAT I COULD NOT SAY
MY FLESH QUIVERS WITH

CHILL BUMPS
MY FLESH BURNETH WITH

UNQUENCHED DESIRES
FILL ME LOVE STILL MY THRIST
GIVE TO ME WHICH MY SOUL

DESIRETH
LOVE ME STILL MY EYE
QUIETH MY DESIRE FILL ME

WITH THY FLESH
BRING FORTH THIS DESIRE

THAT QUESTION NOT

By Felicia McCaw

ANTHONY SWEET

Mischief do I see
Personality of a maybem
Quicksilver is his thoughts
Limber is his heart
Tenacious is his nature
To see loves chapel

Blinkers gone to reveal storm
Working bee must honey bee

I CAN PRAY

I can pray I can pray I can pray
Cries of pain fill air
Faith shield me hold me dear
Storms and winds crash prayer fast
My God turns them back cruel hard
Winter bitter cold is hearts turned
Spite malice lies have done them so
Winds flashing lightening bolts
My eyes see a morrow's call
Last and low let me be
My Father loves ever sweet morning
Keep me near heart of fire wept
Cocoon me in invisible arms I am near
Eyes fill with tears of pain
My lord I cry I can pray
See the wind crash against walls of steel
Buckle down none withstand his roar
My lord I can pray I can pray
Fast deep misery clasp me hard
Till his love shield me fast
Eyes wondrous look and see
My eyes see a wondrous sight
Surely I see wrongly gasp I
Blink Blink no one tell I
Love burn hearts pain away
Fear of unknown fills us all
I can pray I can pray
My Lord I cry I can pray I can pray
Keep faith fills me great
Teach me lord thy way
Storm clouds may rise fast
Winds may blow but he's sweet I know
Great thunder his steps be
See my shame he keep me near
Strong his arm around me I feel
I can pray I can pray I can pray
My Lord I cry I can pray I can pray
Sad is not me anymore
For his purpose has filled my void
Step righteously Lord I call
My name is yours command me
I can pray I can pray I can pray
My Lord I cry I can pray I can pray
Lights out I call his name
Sun leaves no morning dew
I call his name over and over
Keep me thine Father leave me not
Lord I thank thee over over over over
I can pray I can pray I can pray
My Lord I cry I can pray I can pray
Disgrace me and all dear to my heart
I can pray I can pray I can pray
Faith fills void and chasm deep
Lord I cry I can pray I can pray
Deceive not command Lord roar
Not me Lord cringe and cling to him do
Little one cry I can pray too
Little two cry I can pray two
Mate cry I can pray three
Standfast for me and mine Lord beg Licia
Keep our sad face close to thee
Lord I cry I can pray I can pray I can pray
Hear me Lord for fear look me fast
Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run
No where can thee hide from Father's Wrath.
